After getting a first glimpse of it a couple of days ago at the Xbox Games Showcase, we finally have the opportunity to see the highly anticipated Star Wars game in full action. Introducing the new Star Wars Outlaws, the first open-world game set in the Star Wars universe. Do you need any more reasons to rush and watch its first 10 minutes of gameplay?

Take risks as Kay Vess, an up-and-coming hustler seeking freedom and a chance to start a new life with her companion, Nix. Fight, steal, and carve your way through the criminal syndicates as you join the list of the galaxy’s most wanted criminals,” reads the game’s description, which takes place between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.
The gameplay shared by Ubisoft shows Kay Vess and her loyal companion Nix sneaking into a hideout teeming with criminals on the planet Toshara. With a mix of stealth and action, Vess makes her way through enemies—who, in the demo, seem to have worse aim than a stormtrooper—showcasing the game’s combat and movement system. We’ll be able to traverse the map on foot or with our speeder bike, and, of course, there will also be room for ships and space battles in the game.
If all goes well, which is a lot to assume in the world of video games, the new Star Wars Outlaws is set to be released in the coming year 2024.
