Today’s new work reality often means that many professionals (and individuals too) don’t have ample space to install large printing equipment. Since quiet and compact printers are increasingly valued and in demand, that’s exactly what Brother’s new printers offer for small homes and offices. From students needing them for school or university assignments to multifunction models designed for small businesses, Brother’s catalog has responses for nearly every profile.
These new Brother printers can print up to 26 color pages per minute without compromising the final result. With automatic double-sided printing capabilities, users also gain efficiency, and multiple functions can be used simultaneously thanks to a 50-sheet automatic document feeder.
Connectivity is another crucial factor present in Brother’s new range of color LED printers, with Ethernet and 5 GHz WiFi connections for direct linking to computers, as well as USB ports for connecting a USB drive and printing files directly. All of these functions are accompanied by outstanding toner performance, featuring an independent drum, as well as the option to use XL-sized cartridges for handling large print volumes while reducing costs.
Two of the main novelties from the Japanese brand are the Brother HL-L3220CW and HL-L3240CDW, laser printers for home and office use. The first, the HL-L3220CW, is more oriented toward personal use, with a printing capacity of 18 pages per minute, 256 MB of internal memory, and 5 GHz WiFi connectivity along with USB.
On the other hand, the HL-L3240CDW is more geared towards small offices, with a printing capacity of 26 pages per minute and the option for double-sided printing at a rate of 10 pages per minute. This printer features Ethernet connectivity in addition to WiFi and USB. It shares with its smaller sibling a 250-sheet paper tray and the presence of a toner with a yield of 1,000 pages in both black and color (with larger cartridges available, reaching 3,000 pages in black and 2,300 in color).
For those who need more than just a simple printer, two other models are available: the Brother DCP-L3520CDW and DCP-L3560CDW, color LED laser multifunction printers. These three-in-one printers (printer, copier, and scanner) offer automatic double-sided printing and various connectivity options. In the case of the DCP-L3520CDW model, it features up to 5 GHz WiFi and a USB port, with a printing speed of 18 pages per minute (14 when printing double-sided). It has a 2-line LCD control panel for managing prints and a 250-sheet paper input tray. It also includes a toner with a yield of 1,000 pages in both black and color, with the option to install XL cartridges offering 3,000 pages in black and 2,300 in color.
The Brother DCP-L3560CDW multifunction printer offers higher performance, with a speed of 26 pages per minute and 10 pages per minute for double-sided printing. Its scanner can scan up to 21 images per minute, providing great agility for any type of business. With its 8.8 cm color touchscreen, the device can be managed and used much more easily and intuitively. It also features an Ethernet port in addition to WiFi and USB connectivity.
The internal memory of this multifunction printer is expanded to 512 MB, and it has a 50-sheet automatic document feeder, with a total paper input tray capacity of 250 sheets. It includes a toner with a yield of 1,200 pages and is compatible with Brother’s XL cartridges for handling larger print volumes (3,000 pages in black and 2,300 in color).
The new releases in Brother’s range of color LED laser printers are rounded out by the Brother MFC-L3740CDW and MFC-L3760CDW, multifunction printers designed for larger workgroups and businesses requiring higher print speeds. The difference between the two models lies in print speed, both for single pages (18 pages per minute for the L3740CDW compared to 26 pages per minute for the L3760CDW) and double-sided (7 pages per minute for the former versus 10 pages per minute for the latter).
The rest of the features of these Brother multifunction printers are quite similar. Both offer a scanning capacity of 21 images per minute and 8.8 cm color touchscreens. Connectivity is ensured with Ethernet and USB ports, as well as WiFi or cloud services via Brother. Both models have 512 MB of internal memory.
The agility in the printing and copying processes of these new Brother models is further supported by a 50-sheet automatic document feeder and a paper input tray with a capacity for 250 sheets of paper in total. Regarding toner, both printers include a 1,000-page toner cartridge in both black and color, although it’s also possible to use Brother’s larger cartridges, capable of printing up to 3,000 pages in black and 2,300 in color, resulting in greater savings and productivity by reducing the need for frequent toner changes in the office.
