The Galaxy Ring can put you on a diet: this is how Samsung will improve your diet with its smart ring

As the weeks go by, more information is coming about the new accessory from the Korean tech giant that will be presented in the summer.

Samsung’s Galaxy Ring is heading straight for the summer to be presented alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Z Flip 6. An ideal accessory for the phone that initially may not have all its health specifications, although it has now been leaked that it could become a nutritionist to provide personalized meal plans based on the user’s exercise routine.

Samsung’s smart ring is fitting perfectly into the tech giant’s catalog and could boost its sales, prompting even competitors to consider launching their own alternatives.

In these years where physical exercise, self-care, and health awareness are becoming increasingly important, the Galaxy Ring is an ideal accessory to complement your phone, and now, as it is known, it could even offer nutritional advice.

A new report from the Korean outlet Chosun Biz has revealed that the Galaxy Ring could offer nutritional recommendations for the user’s diet. The publication attributes this information to sources close to the development of the smart ring and maintains that the company aims to link the Galaxy Ring to Samsung Food.

Samsung Food is a service for personalized recipes and diets based on artificial intelligence that was launched last year and is compatible with smart home applications. By linking the ring to the service, Samsung would offer personalized diet plans based on health information provided by the wearable.

This means that if the user engages in intense physical activity, such as running for an hour, upon returning home, the Galaxy Ring would pass on that information so that Samsung Food could provide the necessary foods to repair the damaged muscles, such as those high in glucose.

Additionally, the Galaxy Ring would provide recommendations based on calorie consumption and body mass index (BMI). Furthermore, Samsung Food, linked to the company’s smart refrigerators, would analyze the food inside the fridge and offer dishes based on its content.

According to Android Authority, the nutritional recommendation through various diets or plans could be launched internationally as Samsung Food is available in 104 countries. This is an interesting proposal by the Galaxy Ring to contribute to improving the user’s nutrition on a daily basis, which is a vital part of health.
