Vivo X100 and X100 Pro, Cameras turned into mobiles

Vivo has announced two devices with great potential for mobile photography. We are talking about the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro, which come as one of the most interesting bets in the camera segment. Both devices are equipped with sensors optimized by ZEISS, a company with which Vivo has collaborated before to offer quality photos and videos. But they not only stand out for their photographic capabilities but also for their performance, driven by the most powerful and advanced processor that MediaTek currently has.

The Vivo X100 and X100 Pro have arrived to compete in the high-end as two of the most important promises in terms of cameras and video. Right now, they are the flagship models of the manufacturer, and therefore, they have some of the most advanced and interesting features and specifications of the moment. We’ll tell you what they are…

Vivo X100 and X100 Pro, Everything about the new phones with zeiss cameras

Vivo X100

Vivo claims to have taken photographic innovation to another level thanks to its partnership with ZEISS, the manufacturer of lenses and optics with which it has worked closely to optimize the sensors of the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro. There are several important improvements for night photography. Both phones can capture more information in low light conditions while minimizing the noise in each shot. To achieve this, image processing through software has been improved. In this way, clearer and sharper photos are obtained.

But night photography is not the only thing that has improved; the bokeh mode of both phones has also been enhanced. New bokeh effects have been added, as well as various functions that make their cameras more versatile. To achieve this, Vivo has developed the V3 chip, which helps process each shot to offer more attractive results, both in photos and videos.

The main camera both phones boast is 50 megapixels with an f/1.8 aperture. They also have a 50-megapixel ultra-wide sensor with an f/2.0 aperture and a 64-megapixel telephoto lens with an f/2.5 aperture. For selfies, both come with a 32-megapixel front camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

Performance is also crucial, and Vivo knows it. Therefore, it has equipped both high-end phones with the 4-nanometer Dimensity 9300, the most powerful processor from MediaTek right now. This is paired with up to 16 GB of RAM and internal storage of up to 512 GB in both cases.

The display of the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro is LTPO AMOLED technology and measures 6.78 inches. In addition, it has a variable refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and a fairly high brightness of 3,000 nits. The battery of the Vivo X100 has a capacity of 5,000 mAh and supports 120W wired fast charging, so it takes very little time to get a full charge. The Vivo X100 Pro, on the other hand, has a 5,400 mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
