Samsung resolves doubts: responds to users with a major update for the Galaxy S24

The launch of the Galaxy S24 is one of the most important events of the year in the Android sector; after all, these are the mobile devices that set the standard that other manufacturers will have to, at the very least, match if they intend to compete. However, they are not perfect, like all mobile devices, and early users have complained about some of the decisions made; fortunately, the company has listened with a new update.

Specifically, one of the most controversial aspects of the Galaxy S24 concerns the screen; although they continue to use the best AMOLED panels on the market, with improved brightness compared to the previous generation, the color treatment has been criticized by some users, who were expecting a more striking image.

It’s not a matter of panel quality, by any means, but a conscious decision by Samsung. The company chose to opt for a “more natural” and realistic image, which better corresponds to what we see with our eyes; something especially important when taking photos with its integrated cameras. However, many users are accustomed to the treatment offered by other manufacturers, who lean more towards the spectacularity of the image, often increasing saturation.

Major update for the Galaxy S24

On its official page, Samsung today confirmed that it has listened to user feedback and has released an update for the Galaxy S24 in response; but instead of simply increasing the screen saturation, it has preferred to let users choose their preferred experience. In the advanced screen settings, we now find a new section that allows us to adjust the color intensity to our preferred level; this way, if we want an image with more vibrant colors, we just have to change it. This ensures that enthusiastic and professional users do not lose one of the best neutral color screens on the market.

In addition to changes in the screen, the update also brings improvements in the photography experience, with enhancements to the camera zoom functions, portrait mode, nightography, and video recording.

This update will roll out to all Galaxy S24 users starting this February; as usual, it won’t arrive all at once to all devices, but gradually over several days.
