It’s good, it’s beautiful, and now it’s even cheaper. If you’re thinking about upgrading your phone and are unsure about which one to buy among the latest releases so far this year, you’re in luck. One of the most interesting models, realme, drops its prices: its phone with a periscopic camera has a 100 euro discount, further increasing its appeal in the two versions in which it’s available.
We’re specifically talking about the new realme 12 Pro 5G and realme 12 Pro+ 5G, two newcomers to the realme market that will have a discount offer of 100 euros from March 20th to 25th. This way, you can get a realme 12 Pro 5G for 300 euros or, if you want the higher model, the realme 12 Pro+ 5G for 400 euros.
Among the standout features of the realme 12 Pro+ 5G, its photographic setup cannot be overlooked. It boasts a periscopic camera that includes a 3X optical zoom (with three-fold magnification), along with a six-fold magnification zoom on the sensor, making it one of the mobile phones capable of delivering excellent photos even in nocturnal conditions, one of the most challenging areas to excel in.
The image quality in the night photos of the realme 12 Pro+ 5G is made possible by a half-inch Omnivision OV64B sensor. This sensor, combined with the 64 MP resolution achieved by its images, ensures that the photos are sharp and detailed, controlling levels of visual noise even when taken in low light or with zoom to enhance detail. It also features Omnifocal photographic technology, offering five different levels of lossless zoom, as well as a 120X SuperZoom for capturing photographs at much greater distances.
Design is another strength of the realme 12 Pro series mobile phones. The Chinese manufacturer has partnered with Ollivier Savéo, a Swiss watch designer who has worked with luxury brands in the watch industry, which is evident in details such as the camera module’s dial, the grooved gold bezel on the sides, or the colors inspired by watches. The finish of both phones is synthetic leather, giving them a more premium feel and creating the sensation that you are holding a much more expensive mobile phone in your hands.
In addition to the aesthetic aspect, realme has not overlooked performance when manufacturing its 12 Pro 5G series. The realme 12 Pro+ 5G is equipped with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, while the realme 12 Pro 5G features the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1. In both cases, the user experience aims to be as smooth as possible. Both phones offer configurations with eight or 12 GB of RAM, providing greater fluidity when switching between apps and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Regarding the display, realme opts for a curved 6.7-inch OLED screen in these 12 Pro 5G models, with a Full HD+ resolution of 2,412 x 1,080 pixels. The maximum brightness level these phones achieve is 950 nits, and they feature a 120 Hz refresh rate ideal for enjoying video games, as well as a 240 Hz touch sampling rate.
