You probably know Anker as a company that makes chargers for smartphones, tablets, and laptops, portable batteries (known as “Power Packs”), and adapters for different ports (such as USB-C to others). But did you know that they also make headphones? And did you know that some of them are quite good? They have now introduced a new model, and one of its major attractions is the battery life.
Anker claims that their new Soundcore Liberty 4 NC earphones have a battery that lasts up to 60 hours. This number may vary depending on whether or not you use the active noise cancellation feature, which is included in the earphones, as in all similar models. Nevertheless, over two days of battery life is quite impressive. They achieve this by combining the capacity of the earphones’ internal battery with the charges provided by the charging case.
Regarding active noise cancellation, Anker explains that their system, which includes a “noise isolation chamber,” eliminates up to “98.5% of ambient noises,” a number that sounds too good to be true and we’re eager to test it out in person. The Soundcore Liberty 4 NC earphones feature an 11-millimeter diameter driver or transducer.
The price is also quite competitive: the Anker Soundcore Liberty 4 NC will be available for sale on June 29th for just $100. If these earphones live up to the performance of the Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro, which we have already tested, they offer a very interesting and affordable alternative in the true wireless earphones market.
