New OnePlus Nord CE 4: The First Mid-Range Phone with 100W Charging and a Giant Battery is Official

OnePlus has introduced its new mid-range phone, aiming to stand out in everything related to battery performance.

Although recent releases like the OnePlus 12 have shown that the manufacturer is returning to its former glory, for many users, the Nord brand is more interesting. This is where we find the cheaper models, but also those that offer a better price-to-feature ratio, like the OnePlus Nord 3.

Now, another device from the Nord range arrives, demonstrating that consumers should seriously consider it for their next mobile phone. This is the OnePlus Nord CE 4, and it presents itself as a serious mid-range alternative that stands out particularly in everything related to battery performance.

This new device has been introduced to the global market after being launched in China as the OnePlus Ace 3V; and although it has not been officially confirmed, it is expected to soon arrive in our country as previous models did.

Here’s what the OnePlus Nord CE 4 is like

This would be great news because the new Nord CE 4 appears to be one of the most interesting mid-range mobiles in the sector. For starters, OnePlus can now boast having the cheapest 100W charging mobile on the market; this is a feature that is rare even in high-end mobiles, so it’s surprising to find it in a mid-range device.

As usual for mobiles from the BBK group, OnePlus utilizes SuperVOOC technology for the included 100W charger; this alone should be a selling point, as it promises to be able to fully charge the battery in just half an hour. And that’s quite remarkable because the Nord CE 4 has one of the largest batteries we’ve seen in this range, with a capacity of 5,500 mAh. In other words, this mobile will last a long time and charge quickly, a combination that many users need.

The rest of the components are up to par. Inside, it features a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, Qualcomm’s mid-range model that should offer good multitasking performance while keeping consumption low. It’s not the most powerful processor from the brand or in the industry, but it is capable of competing against alternatives in the same price range. It comes with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, although the latter can be expanded to 256 GB. The virtual memory function allows up to 8 GB of storage to be used as expanded RAM.

Regarding the screen, it sports a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz; it supports HDR10+ and stands out for having the Aqua Touch function, which was introduced last year in high-end models of OnePlus, and can detect touches with the screen or wet fingers.

Lastly, the cameras do not seem to be the priority for this device, as it only has two sensors, but they are not bad. The main camera uses a 50 Mpx Sony LYT-600 with optical stabilization (OIS), accompanied by an 8 Mpx Sony IMX355 wide-angle lens. On the front, there is a 16 Mpx sensor.

The OnePlus Nord CE 4 does not yet have a set price. In India, it starts at 24,999 rupees, which is about 279 euros when converted, although the final price in our country will likely be somewhat higher.
