Huawei introduces the new member of the Nova family, HUAWEI Nova 11i. The latest addition combines impressive battery life, a carefully crafted design, and good photography capabilities for Huawei’s Nova product line.
Following the launch of their flagship photography-focused series, Huawei P60, the Chinese brand is back with the refresh of their Nova range, targeting a market with more affordable prices while still offering an elegant design and compelling features for everyday use.
The smartphones in this series are known for their sleek design, and the Nova 11i is no exception. Huawei has achieved the feat of incorporating a sizable battery without compromising its slimness or weight.
The Nova range by Huawei is characterized by a good balance between price and features, and in this case, it is updated with Snapdragon processors, although without 5G capabilities.
With this new addition, Huawei’s catalog continues to evolve, maintaining its presence in the highly competitive and challenging mid-range mobile market.
The Huawei Nova 11i features a slim and elegant design, with a flat 6.8-inch LCD display and Full HD+ resolution (2,388 x 1,080 pixels). The device boasts extremely thin bezels, achieving a screen-to-body ratio of 94.9%. It has a thickness of only 8.55 mm and weighs 193 grams, making it lightweight and comfortable to hold.
In addition to offering a more immersive screen experience, the Nova 11i is equipped with Huawei’s Histen 8.1 sound technology, which enhances audio quality. It also features Smooth Light Adjustment for improved visual experience and a 90Hz refresh rate for maximum image sharpness while watching videos or gaming on the phone.
The Huawei Nova 11i is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor with four high-performance cores and four efficiency cores, running on the EMUI 13 operating system.
Huawei smartphones have always excelled in the photography department, and the Nova 11i is no exception. It features a 48MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a 1/2-inch sensor with 4-in-1 pixel binning technology, improving performance in challenging lighting conditions and enhancing the Super Night Shot 2.0 mode for higher-quality low-light photos.
The primary camera is complemented by a 2MP depth sensor for better results in portrait mode. Additionally, it includes the AI Snapshot feature, which detects movement in the scene and allows for capturing sharper images when taking photos of pets or children.
The front camera is 16MP and supports the Portrait mode, ensuring excellent results with specific functions for skin processing.
The Huawei Nova 11i is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and supports 40W SuperCharge Turbo fast charging. With this feature, you can regain 60% of battery charge in just 30 minutes, thanks to efficient resource management that maximizes battery life by minimizing activity when the phone is not in use.
