ChatGPT-4 will arrive on Samsung phones thanks to Microsoft’s keyboard. This is how its integration will work

Microsoft has announced the integration of its Bing AI (based on GPT-4) into Samsung mobile devices. The integration will arrive thanks to one of Samsung’s native apps in collaboration with Microsoft: the SwiftKey keyboard. Starting with version v9.10.11.10, expected to arrive in the coming days, we will be able to use this powerful tool without needing to install anything on our mobile device.

Just a few months ago, Microsoft started integrating its chat function into Bing. This chat feature is based on the Large Language Model (LLM), specifically on its GPT-4 version. The initial goal was to enhance the search engine with advanced chat features, but the possibilities are starting to expand.

Among them, as announced by Microsoft, Samsung phones will enjoy this chat feature fully integrated into the system. Phones with Samsung’s One UI ROM have Microsoft SwiftKey, Microsoft’s keyboard, preinstalled. Through an update to it, Bing Chat features will be integrated.

Until now, to enjoy ChatGPT through Bing, it was necessary to do so through its app. With Microsoft SwiftKey, the process will be even simpler. On the one hand, ChatGPT can be used directly from the keyboard, through the chat function. It is a more rapid access point to this service.

On the other hand, it will have a rather interesting feature: tone correction. We will have different suggestions on how to type with the keyboard based on the tone we want to convey. It’s an interesting solution for writing emails, messaging coworkers, and more.

It is expected that the rollout of this feature will begin in the coming weeks. We recommend checking Microsoft SwiftKey updates regularly to enjoy it as soon as it arrives.
