Despite the rumors surrounding OnePlus’ situation in Germany, the brand continues to focus on Spain and will soon introduce a new mid-range mobile phone with a familiar design but updated and improved elements. This is the new OnePlus Nord 3, which has already been fully leaked.
Indeed, in some way, all the details of the new OnePlus model, including official images, have been published on the Internet long before the company has officially announced the device. So there aren’t many surprises left to reveal.
This leak, one of the largest in recent memory, reveals that the OnePlus Nord 3 will be a significant leap from its predecessor, the OnePlus Nord 2, but with changes that better align it with the company’s design language. Therefore, the Nord 3 will feature a refreshed design, with a camera setup identical to that of the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite, which was launched earlier this year. It will have a 50 MP main camera and an 8 MP secondary wide-angle camera.
The leak, published by journalist Roland Quandt, indicates that this will be the new design language for OnePlus smartphones going forward, similar to how Samsung adopted the design of the Galaxy S22 Ultra for all its new phones launched this year. This makes it easier to recognize a OnePlus phone at a glance. In addition to that, OnePlus-specific details such as the side switch for quickly and easily putting the phone on silent mode will be present.
The Nord 3 will be based on a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2772 x 1240 pixels and a 120 Hz refresh rate. This is an improvement over the Nord 2’s 90 Hz, both in terms of screen size, resolution, and speed. Inside, it will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor, accompanied by 8 or 16 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of storage. A notable detail is the 5,000 mAh battery, which can be charged with SuperVOOC technology, reaching 80 W.
This model is targeted at the European market, so it will be the one launched in Spain. In reality, it is a model already known, as it was released in China under the name OnePlus Ace 2V. The only detail that is not known precisely is the price, although it is expected to be in the range of €400, similar to its predecessor.
